Journalist recounts Ayang Luc remark on Ahidjo and the 1982 handover
Guibai Gatama published an anecdote on 6 November 2026 in which the late Ayang Luc said Ahidjo would have given him power if he had loved him. The remark dates from June 1983, as tensions grew between Ahidjo and his successor Paul Biya.
