Socadel launches 44.54bn FCFA in tenders for northern grid
Developing. The state electricity company has issued six tenders worth a combined 44.54bn FCFA to add generating capacity and rebuild equipment stocks in the Northern Interconnected Network. Bids are due on 23 October.

Cameroon signs 139.2 billion XAF Islamic Development Bank loan for Douala-Bafoussam road
Economy Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey signed the financing agreement in Bangkok on 13 October. The loan covers most of the cost of rehabilitating the 218.9 km Douala-Bafoussam corridor.
