Bibou Nissack, a member of the Mouvement pour la Renaissance du Cameroun (MRC) held at Kondengui central prison in Yaounde, has filed a complaint with the party's Comite national de mediation et d'arbitrage (CNMA) against Henry Djoko, an MRC member in Strasbourg, France. The five-page letter carries a receipt stamp dated 30 October 2026.

Nissack states that the dispute began with a formal notice he had delivered to Djoko through Professor Fogue Tedom, asking him to stop defaming him. Djoko first denied the claims to the professor, Nissack says, then sent a written message dated 27 October 2026 from an address outside the prison. Nissack says the message, printed by his wife and brought to him, contains admissions of treason. He replied in writing through the same channel.

Nissack says Djoko personally made and relayed by telephone remarks accusing him of having insulted Maurice Kamto, the party's elected president, of having allied with the government and of having turned his back on the MRC. He also says he was told of rumours attributed to "Canadian sources" that he had benefited from a house built by the diaspora and that a member of his in-laws had negotiated an arrangement with the authorities in Yaounde. Nissack denies betraying Kamto or the MRC and says construction of his house, financed from personal funds, stopped because of his prolonged detention.

Citing articles 82 and 83 of the MRC's internal rules, Nissack asks the CNMA to expel Djoko for treason, identify any accomplices and apply the same sanction. He names Romaric Tenda and Roland Dieuwou as witnesses to the telephone call and asks the committee to put a series of questions to Djoko before ruling. The complaint is the latest dispute inside the MRC, which is due to hold a congress on 17 October 2026 to elect a president in place of Kamto, who resigned.
